On last week's snow day we lost our power! A big branch fell in the night and took out the powerlines to our little home! We spent the day in the quiet darkness, while our daughter learned all about electricity! We read a great book "Stories to tell by the fireside" near the light of our Hannuka candles! It was a great use of a snowday! No baking, but lots of soup bubbling away over the woodstove!! Thanks for your blog reminder to make it special!
