The above quote is indeed beautiful, and we all hold up an ideal of ourselves as that magic mother who can indeed heal with a kiss.  And yet some moments we do not experience that bliss of magical motherhood.  There are moments that feel anything but magical...

We dream of a community of mothers who not only share in the joys and challenges of raising our children, but also in supporting one another as we reclaim, reconnect, and rebalance as women.  We all know how to love, how to give, how to open ourselves wide for the needs of our family.  Too often, though, we lose sight of the importance of self-care amidst the important work of motherhood. 

Mama Renew seeks to create a safe space in which to reconnect, to reclaim the parts of ourselves we long for, and seek balance between the many ways that we give and learning how to give to ourselves. The sharing of this journey of rediscovery reminds us that we are not alone in seeking more, and creates a sense of shared celebration with each new insight. 

We treasure the ever-expanding community of Mama Renew and fully believe that the impact these groups have on those who participate will carry on far beyond our time together - for the women themselves, and also in our families and communities.
